Following "Nature Morte", "Brume" is the second ep produced by the emerging Portuguese Duo Blanc Motif. The duo is a music project conceived by André Miranda and Rodrigo Ferreira, both from Portugal.

The creative process was always one of the main concerns. It was explored and crafted so that the ideas would instantly become sonic material. It is crucial to be surrounded by instruments and sound sources, so that the music is recorded in live take and arranged afterwards.

Blanc Motif is influenced by a different range of electronic music acts, from the abstract sounds of Autechre, to the nostalgic character of Boards of Canada and GAS, the quietude of Loscil and the organic textures and hypnotic repetition of Polar Inertia’s Techno.

"Brume" was composed, produced, mixed and mastered by André Miranda and Rodrigo Ferreira, in Porto/2018. It is identical to "Nature Morte" in its form and character, though Brume is a step closer to the realization of Blanc Motif’s aesthetics and sonic ideal.
